The Mini Cooper is famous for its small size and mighty performance. In point, the Mini Cooper even raced tremendously well in competitions like the World Rally Championships.

This RC vehicle incorporates an M-03 chassis that is especially designed to be as speedy as possible. The double wishbone suspension also ensures the stability and excellent handling of the car. Back Yard Summer BBQs

By Byron Jonas, January 19, 2010 7:07 pm

Summer is the perfect time of year to get the backyard BBQ season started. Many people wait all year long just for the chance to grill their favorite foods over an open flame and gather family and friends together to enjoy great food and the wonderful, sunny weather. With just a few helpful tips, you can turn your next backyard BBQ into the event of the year.

On the more practical side of things, one thing that must be considered is pest control. Nothing can make an outdoor event more miserable than invasion of ants, mosquitoes or any other unwelcome creatures. Use plastic containers with lids or some form of covering to keep ants away. A good defense against moquitoes is to light a few citronella candles or torches and place them strategically throughout the backyard; this really will help keep them away and prevent your guests from unpleasant bites.

In terms of menu planning, consider first which beverage options you will be offering to your guests. Although the grill might be getting all the attention during the BBQ, having a nice assortment of beverages available will keep your guests happy, especially on those really hot summer days.

If you are expecting wine drinkers, Pinot Grigio and Merlot are two good choices that will likely please most palates. In addition, you may want to offer a few beer selections and maybe even a mixed drink such as margaritas or daiquiris. Using seasonal summer fruits in a drink recipe is always a crowd-pleaser and will make your event that much more festive. Don’t forget to have plenty of non-alcoholic options such as soda or iced tea, and be sure to have diet or sugar-free options on hand as well.

In terms of the main course, keep the grilling items simple; hamburgers, hot dogs and marinated chicken are always a hit. For a more upscale menu, you can add steak or even salmon fillets. Another popular grilling choice is kabobs, which you can make with a variety of ingredients including beef, chicken, lamb, shrimp and a wide variety of vegetables.

As your guests begin to arrive and settle in, make sure to have plenty of snacks available for munching and accompanying that first round of drinks. These in no way need to be anything fancy, in fact a few bowls of chips or pretzels and maybe even a fresh vegetable tray with dip will do the trick. Another BBQ favorite that you might want to consider adding to the spread is sliced watermelon. There is nothing that says summer more than a big juicy bite of perfectly ripe watermelon.

Nothing accompanies a BBQ better than all the delicious traditional side dishes such as coleslaw, potato and macaroni salad and baked beans. Whether you decide to buy them pre-made or make them from scratch, these dishes are a must-have for any successful backyard BBQ.

With a little bit of planning and preparation, you can be sure that your backyard BBQ will be the event of the season. Make the most out of the summer and get started planning your own gathering today.

Byron Jonas invariably uses shade canopies for his backyard barbecues. There is nothing like instant marquees to remove the heat out of the Australian sun.

The 2009 Toshiba TG01 Review Is In

By Rick Stuart, December 22, 2009 3:54 pm

Toshiba TG01 Review offers the inside features of their new Smartphone that is in a league with the iPhone. It is supposed to be the fastest, thinnest and largest mobile phone. The 2009 Toshiba TG01 Review show it has the fastest processor, which is shaped like a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1 GHz and slimmest as under a centimeter thick.

The Toshiba TG01 operates on the Windows Mobile 6. 1; upgraded to 6. 5 on release. Its screen is the largest on any mobile at 4. 1 inches. Its borders included, the size is massive for a 3G at 129×70x9. 9 mm.

It is too large yet it feels light at 129g only. The volume and power control are on the lower left edge. The flap-covered USB socket and camera are on the right.

This new WVGA phone from Toshiba has three touch sensitive buttons that help you navigate through the screen. Calls are made and ended by simply touching the screen. Accessing the Free Pad through a bar at the bottom part of the phone helps you zoom in and out of web pages.

The TG01 from Toshiba has an auto focus 3. 2 mega pixel camera. The TG01 overall design is minimalist, giving it a touch of class. If the phone comes on a bit slow with the Toshiba logo on the display, it may be because of the applications installed. It has Pocket Office with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and One Note; not to mention Face-book and You Tube applications. It also has a PDF viewer and an MP3 and MP4 player.

The display of the WVGA screen is sharp and clear but it not very responsive; though you can swipe through menus but it still requires some fine-tuning. When the phone has a message for you the LED is blue, when it is low on battery it turns red and green when in sleep mode; as energy-saving option this can be turned off. All you need to do is press the power button to exit the sleep mode.

The Toshiba TG01 Review deems this as a reliable product with many features. Utilized as a miniature PC just flip it to its side so that the screen is reoriented to landscape mode, find a dock, connect the phone to a keyboard. You will be amazed. The phone comes with a User Guide CD and Sync Software in another CD. Other accessories you should find in your TG01 package are a micro USB charger, 3. 5mm headphone adaptor, amd micro USB to USB adaptor.

If your old Toshiba has batteries that are weaning, get them replaced. You can find Toshiba PA3594U 1BRS and many more at laptopbatteriesfourless.com.

Top Christmas Gifts For The Man In Your Life

By Dave Cain, October 30, 2009 5:55 am

Now, in buying for a dad, we must understand what a dad really wants. What makes a dad happy? This is not rocket science people. In order for a gift to be effective and pleasurable for our dads, it has to fulfill a need? So, what needs do dads have to have fulfilled? Dads have a variety of needs over a rather small spectrum actually. They need the sense of team.

Whether it is playing as one, watching one or pretending to be one, it is still a sense of team. Fellowship is another. Nothing fulfills the “hoo-rah” sensation better than hanging with some fellows and cold beverages. And then there is needed. And as much as they may gripe about it they need to be needed. Fix this, grill that, move this…you get the picture. So, do you want to know what gifts for dad fall into these “needs” that they have? Of course you do. Here are a few examples of the best christmas gifts for dad this year.

Power Tools-Now we have to be careful when we talk about tools. Getting dad a ratchet set is almost borderline of getting him a tie. Power tools make loud noise and are destructive. If you are totally not sure about this, ask a reliable friend what power tools he doesn’t have already or you may have to actually pay attention to one of his conversations and see what he says.

In my opinion most guys like cordless, at least 18V or bigger and made by a popular brand like Dewault or Milwaukee. A really good combo pack where the batteries are interchangable is almost perfect. YOu usually get 4 or 5 different tools with that and a case. Another awesome best christmas gift for dad.

Indoor Golf-Who would have thought? Another perfect addition to the “man cave”, this allows your wann-a-be Tiger Woods to play all year round, rain or shine, from the comfort of your own home. There are several varieties on the market from ones that are extensions of gaming systems to stand alone models. Most will actually allow him to use his own clubs. You will soon be able to see examples of all these gifts, just hang in there.

A Smoker-Smokers take “king of the grill” to a whole new royalty level. Now, if your dad doesn’t have a grill or his is seriously outdated, I would definitely suggest getting him a nice grill. Go ahead and get stainless steel, that’s what he’ll like because that’s how we are. Actually, they make several combo models that are a grill and a smoker. Perfect for the dad in need of both. But a smoker truly exemplifies what dads like to do.

The smoker will actually make your food taste great and he will get to stay outside all day, drink beer and play cornhole while he babysits it. A total win-win for everyone. If in doubt, a smoker is a great christmas gift for dad. Throw in a bag of hickory chunks and 10 lb boston butt and your shopping is over.

Tattoo-Nothing you can give a man will say “I love you” anymore than giving him a tattoo. If he doesn’t have it yet and really wants one, that just means that you probably don’t want him to have it. So to save yourself the trouble of travelling to every tattoo shop in town, buy him a tattoo collection that you both can look at while at home. This way you have some say in it! After you pick it out together, go with him and watch him suffer. Read on and you’ll know exactly where to get this at.

Do you want to make this a year to remember for dad? Do you want to put a smile on his face with a gift you know he will love? Find the gifts that really are the best christmas gifts for dad. You will find these and many other great choices at www.christmasgiftsfordad.info.
