As a kid I have to say that I had no heard of Scalextric sets until of course one afternoon my uncle came round with a set and we started to build up a set from scratch with everything from working lights to corners weaving around the table, it looked like a scene from a Wallace & Gromit movie it was great.

If you are not sure what Scalextric is then it is basically just slot car racing which is of course racing small cars that are powered by grooves or “slots” within the track itself. Jewellery Makes A Great Mother’s Day Present

With Mother’s Day fast approaching it’s time for all us children to think about what our mum’s would like as a little gift.

Sadly for me my mum is longer with us, so personally it’s not something I have to think about, but I have 2 kids of my own and they always splash their cash on a little present for me. I also have to get something for my husband’s mum as he doesn’t have a clue and would probably end up at the last minute getting her a bunch of flowers from the local garage!!
