Finding The Perfect Funny T-Shirt For Any Occasion

By , October 3, 2011 9:20 am

The demand for funny t-shirts has escalated to a fever pitch amongst many different social circles and friends. The key to finding the perfect t-shirt is to get one that is really original and new. Nobody will laugh at a joke they’ve heard before, so you have to find that new funny t-shirt before anyone else.

Getting your hands on that perfect t-shirt is not quite as easy as you may think. In this article, I plan on giving you three short tips that will make the process much simpler. With these t-shirt buying hints, you will be wearing the most humorous t-shirt around in no time.

1. Skip your trip to the mall. The stores that sell funny t-shirts at the mall are not your friend. If you make the mistake of buying a t-shirt at the mall, then you are effectively telling a joke that everyone has heard before you showed up at the party. The mall stores are parts of vast chains that require weeks of approvals before a t-shirt can be sold at their stores. By then, the humor is no longer current.

2. Plying the endless wastes of the Internet is much easier when you have a guide, and search engines fill that roll nicely. Going to a Website like Google.com is a great way to find that perfect t-shirt. Search for “funny t-shirts”, and you can get the best of the best sites within the first few pages of your search results.

3. Be specific with your searching. If you want something raunchy, then you should search the Web for “funny offensive t-shirts.” If you and your friends are hunters, then a “funny hunting t-shirt” may be good to enter into the search engines. You want a shirt that not only makes people laugh, but also speaks with your own voice. Make certain it’s a joke you would enjoy telling to many people, because that’s basically what you do when people read your shirt.

Paying attention to this help will send you down the right path for getting the perfect funny t-shirt for whatever occasion you may have planned.

The French Open Championship

By , September 11, 2011 11:48 am

It is highly unlikely that people will not have heard of the French Open tennis championship, because it is a competition which is an annual topic of conversation. In French the name of the competition is ‘Les Internationaux de France de Roland Garros’ or ‘Tournoi de Roland Garros’. This tournament, which lasts for about a fortnight is held in Paris at the Roland Garros Stadium, from which it got its name.

The French Open is one of the most advertised and broadcast sports events in the whole world of sport and many VIP’s go to it. The attendees of the game are fanatics who await with baited breath every stroke, especially when there is a close struggle between the two players, doing their best to win. TV viewers actually get a feeling of being there live too.

The French Open tennis championship is the second on the annual schedule of the Grand Slam tournaments and its history goes back to the year of 1891 when it became an international competition. At that time it was named the ‘International Championship of Tennis of France’ or ‘Championat de France International de Tennis’ in French.

First of all, only players that were registered or licensed in France were allowed to participate in this competition, but things took a different turn in 1925, when the French open tennis tournament finally was accessible to foreign players. Until 1912, the court the players used was made of crushed red brick dust. Actually the crushed brick was formed into a sort of red clay that was spread over the ground, which, until then, would have been a green lawn.

The public’s enthusiasm for the French Open tennis tournament held at the Roland Garros stadium, dates back to a competition fought between the Philadelphia Four (Rene Lacoste, Jean Borotra, Henri Cochet and Jacques Brugnon) who won the Davis Cup in 1927. It was the trigger of the desire in the French to defend their cup in future competitions. This new tournament was designed to return home the cup and was held at a stadium named after the World War I ace Roland Garros. The name has stuck since then.

The term ‘open’ became has been used since 1968, when the tournament allowed both amateurs and professionals alike who wanted to test their skills at tennis. Since then, the French Open tennis tournament has also introduced some novel ideas in prizes.

Apart from the regular winners’ prizes, they also give prizes called ‘Prix Orange’ for the most correct and press-friendly player, ‘Prix Citron’ for the player with the strongest personality and ‘Prix Burgeon’ for the one the best new-comer of the tennis year.

Customized Panties

By , September 11, 2011 10:49 am

I hope that you do not think that the topic of panties or knickers is rude or taboo, because I am not out to shock or upset anyone with this piece. No, rather, this article is being written to point out the fun that you can have with your underwear. After all, underwear is not rude or dirty and the vast majority of people in the world wear it, I should think.

But I do not want to talk about men’s underpants in this article and I do not even want to talk about commonplace knickers, I want to talk about personalized panties. Personalized panties are all the rage. In fact they have been for a long time, but previously you either had to do the custom embroidery yourself or you had to put up with the off-the-shelf personalized panties.

Often their slogans were ‘not quite right’, if you know what I mean. Typical writing on personalized panties was: ‘Unwrap Before You Eat’ or ‘Abandon Hope All Ye Who Enter Here’. They were a bit tacky to say the least. Then came the: ‘I’m Dick’s Bit Of Fluff’ type, but they all wear a bit thin after a while, naughty as they may be.

That was a while ago and nowadays you can have written what you want on your personalized panties and you can do it online and have your secret underwear delivered to your door in a brown envelope, not that anyone would really be concerned these days.

There are plenty of custom underwear manufacturers, which for $10-12 will add three to five lines of text and a logo to your panties. You can choose from pre-written text and a selection of images and logos or you can design and up load your own.

Do not get me wrong, you could just have something simple written on them like the days of the week – in Chinese. It does not have to be sexy, but it is better if it is.

This can be a huge source of pleasure for you and whomever you choose to show your panties to. It is a great kick to be wearing personalized panties with something saucy written on them when you are looking at the person you fancy, especially if they do not know what you have on.

And when they do find out, they will have as much pleasure at the sexy joke as you did. $10 or $12 is not a lot for a good pair of panties and if you can have them personalized too and delivered to your door, it becomes a huge bargain. Try it and you will understand what I mean. You and your friend will get a huge kick out of your naughty personalized panties.

How To Choose Golf Shoes

By , August 25, 2011 1:05 pm

Your swing may change with time, your accuracy and distance will improve with practice and strength, and you will become deadly accurate with a putter in time, but you will always do these things while standing on your own two feet and they can get tired.

So, your feet need to be quite comfortable, don’t they! Have you ever got a blister whilst walking or running? It’s all you can think about and it ruins your enjoyment of the experience of what you are doing. Don’t let uncomfortable golf shoes ruin your game of golf too.

This is one time when you shouldn’t let your natural tendency to save money make the wrong decision for you. You will be wearing these shoes many times over a long period of time and they should be thought of as a good investment in your game of golf.

Comfortability, not expense, should be your main concern when you are purchasing any shoes, not only golf shoes. Your foot should not move at all at the heel when you walk, but your toes shouldn’t feel at all cramped. Be sure to have your shoes fitted professionally and walk around in them before you actually buy them.

Serious golf shoes should also be waterproof, so that your feet stay dry under damp conditions. Good socks are important too as they will take perspiration away from you feet, keeping your feet dry and comfortable.

All golf courses prohibit metal spikes on golf shoes in an effort to protect their vulnerable greens. Purchase shoes that allow you to change the rubber spikes easily, and while you’re doing that, purchase some extra spikes. You never know when you may lose one. You should also replace the spikes when they become worn.

You have many things to worry about while playing golf, but your feet shouldn’t be one of them. When it comes to golf shoes, quality counts.

Tennis Fundamentals

By , August 24, 2011 8:54 am

I expect that this, my first dissertation on the fundamentals of tennis, will be found useful by both novices and experts alike in the tennis world. I am striving to arouse interest in the student of the game of tennis by a somewhat prolonged discussion of match play, which I trust will cast a new light on the game of tennis.

I will turn to the novice in my opening and write of certain matters which are second nature to the skilled player. The best tennis equipment is not a lot of good for the beginner even if he really is trying to succeed. However, one has to buy good quality; it is a saving in the end, as good quality material far outlasts poor quality gear.

It is important to always dress in tennis attire when playing tennis. The question of choosing a tennis racquet is a much more serious matter. I do not advocate forcing a certain make of racquet upon any player, since all the famous makes are excellent. However, it is on the weight, balance, and size of handle that the real value of a racquet frame depends, while good stringing is essential to obtain the best results.

After having acquired your racquet, make a firm resolve to buy only good tennis balls, as a regular bounce is a great aid to advancement, while a “dead” ball is of no use at all. If you really desire to advance at the game and progress rapidly, I strongly urge you to watch all the good tennis you can. Study the play of the leading players and try to copy their strokes. Read all the tennis instruction books you can find. They are a great assistance.

More tennis can be picked up off the court, in the study of theory, and in watching the top players in action, than can ever be learned in actual play. I do not advise miss opportunities to play tennis. Far from it. Play whenever possible, but strive when playing to put in practice the theories you have read or the strokes you have seen.

Never let yourself become discouraged by lack of progress. The trick of playing some stroke you have worked on over weeks unsuccessfully, will suddenly come to you when least expected. Good tennis players are the product of very hard work. Very few players are born geniuses at the game. Tennis is a game that pays you dividends all your life. A tennis racquet is a letter of introduction in any city.

The brotherhood of tennis is universal, for none but a good sportsman can succeed in the game for any lengthy period of time. Tennis provides relaxation, excitement, exercise, and pure enjoyment to the person who is tied hard and fast to his job until late in the afternoon.

The following is the order of development that produces the quickest and most lasting results: i. Concentration on the game. ii. Keep the eye on the ball. iii. Foot-work and weight-control. iv. Strokes. v. Court position. vi. Court generalship or match play. vii. Tennis psychology.

Concentration. Tennis is played primarily with the mind. The most perfect racquet technique invented will not suffice if the playing mind is wandering. There are many causes of a distracted mind in a tennis match. The main one is lack of interest in the game. No one should play tennis with any expectation of real success unless he cares enough about the game to be willing to do the practice necessary to learn the game correctly.

Jack it in right now if you are not willing to work very hard. The weather, conditions of play or the noises in the gallery usually bewilder even very experienced match-players playing in new surroundings. Complete and utter concentration on the game is the only cure for an erring mind, and the quicker that lesson is learned the quicker the improvement of the player.

The surest way to keep a game in mind is to play for every set, every game in the set, every point in the game and, finally, every shot in the point. A set is merely a collection of made and missed shots, and the man who misses the least is the final winner.
